Helping Others to Make the World a Better Place
What We Do
In this club, we offer our community help to provide meals to people who are in need of food. When we do this, we create menus or follow given requests and make the meals at our school with the members of our club. Some examples of projects we did in previous years are: we baked nine-hundred cookies for the Eureka/Pacific The Elks Club Veterans Committee to hand out at the USO during the holidays; we cooked dinner for a shelter called Our Ladies Inn; and we cooked dinner for homeless women at St. Patrick's Center.
Past Projects
St. Patricks Center's
Safe Haven
St. Patrick's Center's Safe Haven is a low-barrier facility dedicated to serving individuals who may struggle to be successful in a traditional shelter environment. We were able to provide meals for 40 individuals in this home.
Meals for Ms. Crean
Ms. Crean is an English teacher at our school who lost both of her parents. We wanted to help her out by supplying her with meals so she will have one less thing to worry about.
Pie Kits for Families
Collaborating with Beasley Elementary's Food Pantry, we were able to supply pie kits to 5 families for Thanksgiving!
Birthday Cake Kit Supply Drive
Helping children in our community celebrate their birthday
We made over 90 kits in total!
Meals for a Foster Mom of 6
We adopted a foster family and were able to make and send 9 meals & a birthday kit!
Thank you so much for all the delicious food! I can not tell you enough how much we all appreciated your generosity
and hard work!!!
You Can Help Too!
We are in need of donations! Unfortunately, our budget determines how many people we help. But the more donations we have, the more we can do and the more people we can help!

Dear Sir or Madam,
We are the presidents of Oakville Senior High School’s Soup Kitchen Club. In this club, we offer
our community help to provide meals to people who are in need of food. When we do this, we create menus or follow given requests and make the meals at our school with the members of our club. Then we transport it to where it needs to go. Some examples of projects we did in the past are: we baked nine-hundred cookies for the Eureka/Pacific The Elks Club Veterans Committee to hand out at the USO during the holidays; we cooked dinner for a shelter called Our Ladies Inn; and we cooked dinner for homeless women at St. Patrick's Center.
The reason we are contacting you is because we are in need of donations. As you may know, food
prices are costly and rising. Having donations from other organizations would help us dearly and mean
the world to not only us, but also to the people we help. We would gladly accept any kind of donation whether it be in the form of money or food.
If you are interested in joining us on our journey of helping others, have a suggestion for someone
in need, or would like to make a donation, please feel free to contact us through email at jennajabr@icloud.com.
You can also contact us with any questions you have, and we will happily respond. We hope to
hear from you soon! Thank you for your time!
Sincerely,
Jenna Jabr and Sham Qattan
