Over the summer, the district resurfaced the old tennis courts, creating additional parking for the students at Oakville High School.  Once all of the Senior and Junior applicants were assigned spots, there are several spots remaining that are unassigned.

A decision has been made to reserve those unassigned spots, to rent to students, for situations where a student may need a parking spot for a few days.  This occurs when there are issues such as: doctor appointments, parents are out of town and are unable to get their student to school, or there is an unavoidable family issue.

Criteria to park on an as needed basis are as follows:

  1.  Must meet the basic requirements outlined on the parking application.  Minimum 2.0 GPA and No Major disciplinary issues.
  2. Must have advanced permission from the parking administrator, Mr. Brennan or designee.
  3. There will be a charge of $5 per day for the spot.  Payment is to be made to the parking secretary, Mrs. Bauer or designee, at the time of approval.
  4. Students are limited to up to 5 consecutive days and 10 total days for the school year.
  5. Once the spots are assigned, no additional daily parking will be permitted for that day.
  6. Students who do park through this, must only park in their assigned parking spot for the designated time period.
